In the field of solar power distribution, a common concern arises from the traditional layout of PV combiner boxes, where closely arranged fuses generate excess heat due to overlapping operation.
Addressing this challenge, IPKIS presents a groundbreaking solution—PV combiner box with external fuse. By strategically affixing the fuses evenly onto the box's exterior, the heat accumulation resulting from the conventional fuse arrangement is eradicated. One end of the fuse resides within the enclosure while the other extends outward, facilitating temperature equilibrium between the box's interior and exterior. This innovation also streamlines future fusible core replacements and enhances external protection to achieve an impressive IP68 rating.
2.Product Features
Remarkably, the integration of an external-fuse setup amalgamates the functions of traditional fuses, MC4 connectors, and cable glands, leading to component reduction and operational simplification.
Furthermore, our combiner boxes are fortified with SMC fiberglass-reinforced plastic enclosures, a superior alternative to metal counterparts. These SMC boxes endure rigorous third-party testing, demonstrating resistance against acids, alkalis, salt spray, and ultraviolet exposure. After enduring 2,080 hours of high and low-temperature aging tests, these boxes achieve an IP67 protection rating, coupled with a steel toughness of IK10. Such a robust construction establishes them as the paramount choice, in line with 25 years of photovoltaic industry standards.
