1.Electrical disconnect switch
The HKIP knife switch includes a base, power terminal post, static blade load terminal post, four-blade linkage device, and anti-misoperation switch. The base and handle of this knife changeover switch are made from strong plastic material. The top cover is made from a durable alloy plastic, and the moving and static contacts as well as blades are made from copper components.
2.Applications
The HKIP disconnect knife switch is designed specifically for PV on grid distribution boxes and can also be used in various electrical setups in mines, offices, schools, rural power irrigation, and electric heating systems. The knife switch can be used to manually connect and disconnect circuits without frequent operation, while also offering short-circuit protection. With reduced capacity, the knife switch can also be used to control small AC induction motors for infrequent starting and stopping.
3.Technical Data
· Operating Current: Suitable for normal use in switching electrical circuits (AC-22A).
· Rated Operating Voltage: Designed to work with a voltage of up to 415V AC.
· Rated Operating Frequency: Intended for use with a frequency of 50Hz.
· Rated Current: Available in two options - 100A and 63A.
· Rated Short-Circuit Current: Can handle a short-circuit current of up to 1.26kA.
· Temperature: Designed to operate safely at temperatures below 65°C.
4.Safety Precautions
· Choosing a knife switch with the appropriate capacity and the corresponding copper wires.
· Do not use the isolating switch if the cover is damaged, as this could lead to accidents.
